Fellow Rotarian Historians,

If you can make it to Oakland, California on Thursday May 31st, please join me as we release our club's new centennial book: The Rotary Club of Oakland: A Century of Service and Friendship.

When: Thursday May 31st, 11:30am to 1:30pm
Where: California Ballroom
1736 Franklin Street Oakland, CA 94612

It's going to be a fun party!

In attendance will be at least two past RI presidents and 25 past presidents of our Club.

Our own RGHF member, Richards Lyon is going to make the trek from Napa. His father was our Club president in 1925, so we have stories to tell for the good doctor!
RGHF member and author, Linda Parker Hamilton, will take everyone back in time on a storytelling adventure of the club.

Books will be on-sale for a special release party rate! In a warm and inviting style, the book tells the story of the third oldest Rotary Club in history and its influence on Oakland and the world! It features over 2,500 photos, visual timelines, fun and inspiring anecdotes, and fascinating sidebars! A must-read for Rotary history!

I hope you can join us! And spread the word.

Rotarily Yours,
Linda Parker Hamilton
